We’re quickly becoming a telecommuting workforce.  The technology is in place, and it’s surprisingly easier to reach people when you know exactly where they are:  at the kitchen table or in a small room sectioned off in the basement (unless they’re dozing on the couch with “Ellen” on the TV).

But don’t let the myths about working from home stop you from asking if you can do it – even for just a couple of days.  Take a look at what Susannah Breslin says about the three biggest ones.  Some of us who have worked from home already know about these.

And if you want a humorous look at working from home (the good and the bad), take a look at how The Oatmeal describes it.  (LANGUAGE AND SCATALOGICAL HUMOR WARNING – but it is so true, and so funny).
