Apparently so, says Harold Jarche.  Right now more than 30% of the US workforce are freelancers.  That’s a lot.  To be sure, you have to hustle to find meaningful projects, and that means constant networking and consistently turning out high-quality work that will score more gigs.

As I said some time ago, it’s the rise of the 1099 workforce.
