With deep apologizes to the spirits of Walt Whitman (and his poem “When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d) and Ray Bradbury (and his version, “When Elephants Last in the Dooryard Bloomed”), the title of this post refers to this latest rendition of Bloom’s Taxonomy, that famous classification of learing objectives.
Multiple levels of theorizing tend to obscure what we really want to say or explain, even to the point where (hello, deconstructionists) all meaning of something disappears up its own anal orifice (putting it politely).
So anything that cuts through the muck is welcome.
